Clark County is currently taking applications to fill a vacancy on the Whitney Town Advisory Board
Appointment to the Town Advisory Board (TAB) is for the remainder of the current term ending December 2014.
The TAB holds public meetings at least once per month at 5712 Missouri Ave. Applicants must be eligible to vote, and live within the town boundaries. Functions of the TAB include:
-Hearing matters pertaining to the town (long range planning and land use, zoning, public works projects, new ordinances, etc.) and providing input regarding these matters to the Board of County Commissioners
-Forwarding concerns/problems of the residents for resolution by County Staff
-Disseminating information of interest that it receives from the Clark County Commission and County staff to town residents
